The compilation includes works published in different years and recent unpublished poems from the author's diaries. The publication of the series "Karjalan kirjallisuuden klassicot" ("Classics of Karelian literature") was supported by the Finnish fund "Juminkeko",  Ministry of the Republic of Karelia for national politics, relations with public and religious associations and mass media, with the financial support of the Alfred Kordelin's fund.
